Follow The Instructions

Scan the QR code to start the installation process. Use our guide below for step-by-step configuration.

  1. Go to Settings > Connections to start the eSIM installation.

  2. Tap SIM Card Manager (where you can see the SIM cards that are already on your device).

  1. Tap on Add mobile plan (your phone will look for an active plan with the operator already).

  2. Tap on Add using activation code and enter the information provided.

  3. Select Confirm/Add to save your eSIM profile (depending on your phone)

1. Choose the “Manual” tab at the top

2. Copy the “SM-DP+Address & Activation Code” (manual installation information) 

3. Tap on Network & Internet

4. Tap the Add or + icon next to Mobile Network

5. Tap Next when asked, “Don’t have a SIM card?”

6. Tap Enter Code Manually. You will be asked to enter your SM-DP+Adress as shared on your eSIM installation page.

7. Turn on your eSIM under Mobile Network

8. Enable Mobile data

9. Enable Data Roaming (Please turn off your primary line to avoid roaming charges from your carrier provider when overseas)

10. Set up an APN (access point name) on your device if required.

  • How to buy an eSIM from DataLendR

  • First, select an eSIM data package for the country where you are traveling or currently located. You can find our full selection of eSIM cards on DataLendR.

    After purchasing an eSIM, you will usually receive a QR Code via email within 5 minutes.

  • How to activate an eSIM

  • Activation is simple. Follow the steps below:

    1. On the device where you want to install the eSIM data plan, open the Camera app.
    2. Point the camera at the QR Code. Tap on the notification that appears, which should say Data Plan.
    3. On the following screen, follow the prompts to install the new Data Plan. The default options are okay to accept.
    4. Once the new Data Plan has been added, make sure that Data Roaming is set to ON in your phone’s Settings.
  • How to make sure I'm not charged by my current data provider
    • Turn off Data Roaming on your primary line (home SIM card) to prevent data roaming charges.
    • Temporarily disable apps like iCloud Drive, Google Sync, or other apps that may consume your data in the background.
    • If you install the eSIM before you arrive at your destination, be sure to change the eSIM plan to your primary Cellular Data plan when you arrive.
